怎样进行信息管理？

第一，信息管理不仅要对信息，还要对涉及信息活动的各种要素（如人、机器、机构等）进行合理的组织和控制，以实现信息及有关资源的合理配置。

第二，信息管理不仅应当关注在信息技术背景下业务流程和信息流程的变化，还应关注相应的制度和人们思维观念的变化，将自身的触角延伸至社会人文和宏观的管理层面，才能最终解决人类社会的信息资源管理和开发问题，从而提高管理效率。

第三，注重采用计算机网络方式对信息进行快速收集、加工、处理，运用行政手段、法律手段，辅之人文精神的培养，对信息活动进行必要的调节和控制。培育信息市场，积极促进信息产业、信息经济的发展，努力实现信息资源的有效合理配置。超越管理信息系统而兼及定性与定量分析、强调从战略高度对信息资源进行全面系统管理的信息管理已成为我们努力的方向。
